Job Description

As a Kids Instructor, you’ll be in charge of leading classes for children of various age brackets; 3 and under, Preschool, Elementary and up.  Instructors are responsible for providing an engaging, fun and safe environment in which students can explore and learn new skills. Using our teaching method as a foundation, you’ll incorporate your own style and creativity to make sure daily activities are energizing, constructive and fun.

 

Duties & Responsibilities
Arriving 15 minutes beforehand to prepare for class.
Developing activities and planning for your class session.
Cleaning up after each class.

Positive & professional attitude.

Willingness to create a welcoming environment for students, parents & partners.

Attend monthly staff meetings.

Attend training as scheduled.
Be available to assist with Studio events such as recitals, community events, training, etc. 

Requirements
Minimum of 1-2 year of experience working with children.

Background and experience in Dance styles relevant to class

Ability to plan and initiate culturally relevant and age appropriate games and activities.

Reliable transportation & willingness to teach at various locations.

18 years of age or older.
High school education or equivalent. 
Current state approved CPR & first-aid certification.

Background check required.

We offer classes for adults and seniors, as well as child inclusive classes for parents.  Instructors are responsible for providing an engaging, fun and safe environment in which participants of all levels can feel comfortable. Using our teaching method as a foundation, you’ll incorporate your own style and creativity to make sure routines are new, innovative and fun!

 

Duties & Responsibilities
Arriving 15 minutes beforehand to prepare for class.
Developing routines and planning for your class session.

Ability to adapt your classes and/or provide modifications for participants accordingly.
Cleaning up after each class.

Positive & professional attitude.

Create a welcoming environment for students & studio partners.
Be available to assist with Studio events such as community events, training, and attend monthly staff meetings. 

Requirements

Minimum of 6 months experience leading a class.

Reliable transportation & willingness to teach at various locations.

18 years of age or older.
High school education or equivalent. 
Current state approved CPR & first-aid certification.

Liability insurance not required, this will be provided for you.
